Albatross builds real-time AI discovery for e-commerce. Not a search bar. Not a filter. An algorithm that reads a user's session as it unfolds - what they click, what they linger on, what they ignore - and surfaces the right product at the right moment.

Invisible technology. Immediate results. The kind of thing that's hard to explain and easy to feel.

The Brief
Make a hero film. Short, sharp, impossible to ignore.

Albatross has a lot going on under the hood. A complex product, a real market problem, a clear vision. The challenge with technology that works invisibly: how do you show something the user never sees? And how do you do it in 45 seconds?

The temptation with a product like this: say all of it.
The mistake: saying all of it.

We started with a question:
what should the viewer feel at the end?

The Approach

Nobody watches a 45-second film to learn how an algorithm works. They watch it to decide if they care.

We worked closely with the Albatross team - many rounds of conversation, a lot of listening, and a lot of cutting - until we had one core message. Then we built the film around that.

The product imagery was a challenge of its own. Every product in the film is AI-generated - prompted and refined over many iterations. A significant number of spectacular failures now live quietly in a folder, never to be seen. Eventually: the right images. From there, those assets came to life in Cavalry and After Effects.
