Context
ZP Europe (Zukunft Personal Europe) is an annual industry event focused on the evolving world of work and HR. Held in Cologne, it brings together topics such as recruiting, employer branding, new work, HR technology and people analytics.
For XING’s presence at this event, a large-scale LED wall was designed to become the central element of the booth. The challenge: communicate diverse content clearly on a massive surface - visible from afar, without overwhelming the viewer.
Motion Idea
Based on XING’s creative direction, we developed a modular motion system designed to balance information and energy. The animations needed to attract attention without becoming hectic - clear, engaging and structured, even when multiple screens were running simultaneously.
Motion was approached not as a single effect, but as a scalable system that adapts seamlessly to different content, formats and situations.
The LED wall was driven by an organic, flexible grid of motion modules that could be combined live.
Execution
- Each module was built in four sizes and three color variations
- Extended by full-frame versions and seamless animated loops
- All assets worked independently while forming a cohesive visual system
Animations had to remain perfectly crisp and fluid at extreme resolutions - without stuttering or visual artifacts.
For the evening event, the system shifted into a more atmospheric mode: Less informational content, more rhythm, movement, and eye candy - functioning as a dynamic visual backdrop with a clear party character.
Impact
The LED wall became the visual anchor of the booth, shaping its presence throughout the entire event.
Thanks to its modular structure, the motion system remained flexible and varied while maintaining clarity and consistency.
